Who are we?

Having started hiking in the mountains of Snowdonia National Park in Wales, I have set my sights beyond to long distance thru-hiking and learning the skills needed for mountaineering, cross country skiing and canoe travel. After hiking the GDT in 2025 I fell in love with long distance hiking and outdoor adventure. Learn with me and follow our journey and perhaps learn from the mistakes we make too.

My interest in hiking began when doing the Duke of Edinburgh’s award at school, having been raised on a farm I have always had a love and appreciation for the outdoors. Having hiked the GDT in 2025, I fell in love with long distance hiking as a way to experience different countries and cultures of the towns we pass through. I want to continue to hike across different countries and experience their cultures.
